The Candle Urn for Pets - A Beautiful Keepsake to Treasure Forever

This innovative urn from The Candle Urn Company is a real statement piece. Designed to look like a luxurious designer candle, it will fit seamlessly into your home and is such a beautiful and subtle piece in its own right, that no one would ever guess that it is a memorial item. 

It is available in Medium or Large sizes (see below for dimensions), with a choice of candle fragrances, and can be personalised to create a wonderful heirloom keepsake.

Where do the ashes go?

A secret chamber is concealed in the metal base of the urn which holds a small amount of cremation ashes. The chamber can be locked and unlocked using a decorative silver pendant, which is provided. After the chamber has been sealed, the pendant can be worn on a necklace or bracelet to continue the bond between you and your pet. 

On top of the metal urn base sits a large, luxurious hand-poured glass jar candle, which can be lit in memory of your pet. Finally, a metal lid is placed on top of the candle, which helps protect it and completes the look.

Can the urn be personalised?

Yes, the default wording engraved on the metal urn base is: You left paw prints on our hearts.

You can either add a name and dates to the wording above, or alternatively you can choose your own custom wording instead. Simply add your wording in the personalisation text box above.

Can I choose the candle fragrance?

Yes, please select the candle fragrance from the drop-down menu above.

Can I buy replacement candles?

Yes, The Candle Urn has been designed to be kept forever. The candle is separate from the metal base and replacement candles can be purchased directly from The Candle Urn Company. If you don't wish to replace the candle after use, you can simply place the candle lid directly onto the urn base to create a beautiful metal keepsake box. Alternatively, once the candle has burnt down you can clean the glass jar, place it back on the metal urn base and use it as a vase or planter. 

What are the dimensions?

Medium Candle Urn - the metal urn base measures  11.5 cm x 14 cm. It holds approximately 10 cubic inches of ashes. The candle measures 10 x 10cm and the volume is 44cl. It has 2 wicks and the burn time is approximately 52 hours.

Large Candle Urn - the metal urn base measures 16.5 x 12cm. It holds approximately 23 cubic inches of ash. The candle measures 15 x 8cm and the volume is 75cl. It has 4 wicks and the burn time is approximately 80 hours.

Delivery

Delivery is free for this item. It will be delivered by UPS courier. 

COVID-19 Update

We are currently dispatching all orders as normal (same day if ordered by 3pm Mon-Fri). However, Royal Mail may experience delays to deliveries in some areas due to Covid. Therefore, if your order is time sensitive we recommend selecting the DPD Next Working Day courier option for UK orders, and the DHL Express courier option for international orders, as these are the fastest delivery services that we offer.

UK DELIVERY

Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3pm are dispatched the next working day.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We deliver to the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We offer a choice of Royal Mail Standard International Tracked Post or a faster DHL Express Courier service, for more time sensitive orders.

EU Delivery We no longer ship to Ireland or other EU countries from this website. However, you can still order our products from our Etsy store for delivery to Ireland and the EU.
